The Certification Marks, logos and websites of Sustainable Certification belong to us – you can’t register, attempt to register or use any part of any one of them.
We give you permission to use the Certification Mark for the program for which you are certified by us (an example of a program is ISO 9001 Certification) – but only for the programs for which you are Certified by us, and only for the period of time that you are Certified. You can’t use the Sustainable Certification logo (that’s ours to use), only the program logo(s). See examples in “Displaying Marks and Logos”
Internet links can be provided by you to our site, but you must not represent that use of the link is anything other than a link to our site (we don’t endorse or recommend organisations, or their products / services and wouldn’t want you to infer we did).
Our Internet site is ours, and you can only link to it, you can’t “frame” (your computer people will tell you what that means) any part of our site, and you can’t use any part of our logo as a link (except to our site).
You must comply with the directions, guidelines and policies we issue from time to time in relation to the use of the Certification Marks, our Intellectual Property, Background IP, links and other matters related to your Certification.
The right to use our Certification Marks is conditional on you remaining Certified with us. If you stop being certified with us, you must immediately stop using our Certification Marks and links (we wouldn’t want other people to get the impression you are Certified with us, if you weren’t) and the cost of removal is entirely yours.
If the logo is to be used outside of the rules listed in the terms and condition and rules surrounding the use of logos, a request must be received in writing to the Certification Officer.
You can’t register, or attempt to register, or reserve or protect any Certification Mark of ours.
If you want to use the accreditation mark of one of our Accreditation Body(ies), it can only be used alongside the Sustainable Certification program Logo/Mark provided. You cannot display the JASANZ logo on its own, or with other non-accredited logos.
NB: For organisations issued with an Integrated Sustainable Certification Certificate the individual standards are listed on the Certificates with unique Certificate identification numbers that link to the JASANZ and IAF registers for verification.
All certificates are to be verified using the JASANZ register which can be found here:
https://register.jasanz.org/certified-organisations
What happens if we misuse the Certification Marks?
If we believe you have misused a Certification Mark, we will contact you, using the details on our database, detailing what we believe to be wrong, and stating what action we expect you to take.
If you fail to take that action or other appropriate action, then we reserve the right to take legal action against you, seeking damages and / or undertakings from you. This legal action will be taken at your cost entirely.
Misusing a logo or misleading in relation to certification, whether in words or graphic form could see action taken to suspend your Certification – this is serious stuff, so, if in doubt, please contact the SCPL Head Office first
Please note the below marks are samples of our approved marks and logos for use by Sustainable Certification Pty Ltd and will be provided to certified clients via the Sustainable Certification portal once certified to applicable standards.

** The above are samples only, each certified program has its own unique logo.
Logos are available via the SC portal once certification is achieved. **

Displaying Marks and Logos
For the use of Mark’s and Logo’s for email signatures, website or company documents, please note the examples below that outline the correct and incorrect usage. When the certification logo is displayed on its own it can be inserted anywhere in or around your signature block, website and documents to suit your company’s style.
The Certification Logo may be displayed along with the JASANZ Logo if it is accredited. These may also be used anywhere in or around the signature block to suit your company style, but both the SCPL Certification and JASANZ Logos must be displayed alongside each other wherever they are placed. (Please note there are restrictions around the use of the JASANZ Symbol – please refer above notes)
You are not permitted to use the IAF Mark under any circumstances. All available marks and logos will be available to certified clients through the secure SCPL portal.
